Hamia is a hybrid between a cat and a scarab beetle, who used to watch over the pharoas during the Egyptian times. Her powers involve immortality - from the scarab - and stealth - from the cat - meaning she can watch without being noticed. She also has the ability to manipulate others. Naturally, she provides strength and wisdom to rulers, but she can also take control of people's minds if need be. This usually occurs whenever a ruler becomes too tryannous. During present times, she'll stalk the passage between the living and the dead. She is worshipped still by the dead, but the living no longer worship cats and scarab beetles, so her powers of manipulation have little to no effect there.
