Chinese Lotus

I used watercolors to paint two lotuses in traditional Chinese style. The reason why I chose a western medium instead of Chinese pigments is that I believe Chinese art can be divisive. I try to challenge people's conception that Chinese art has to be "flat" and "fluent." In this case, it can also be dimensional.
