Shippensburg University MAG
Shippensburg, PA: Shippensburg is 40 miles fromHarrisburg, Pennsylvania and even though it is a small school, something is always going on.
When I visited, I stayedfor two nights with a close friend. Not only did this give meinsight into college life, it also helped me decide what Iwant in a college. The university's brick buildings and smalltown atmosphere were very persuasive.
With smallclasses and a "suitcase campus," Shippensburg has itall. It is a good choice if you are planning on teaching, since there is a wonderful teaching program and an elementaryschool on campus. The sports teams are Division III butcompetitive. The workout facilities are nice and the footballstadium is beautiful.
During my stay, my friend and Itook a walk around campus. She knew almost everyone who passedby! This shows how close the students are.
I thinkShippensburg is the place to be. From the time you enter thecampus, until the time you leave the small town ofShippensburg, it is hard not to fall in love with theuniversity. If you are looking for small classes and abeautiful campus, Shippensburg is the place for you!
