The Woods
I bolted through the night as silent tears struggled down my face. I could hear their voices fade as I entered the woods, the woods. What was I doing? All my life the only family I have told me 'don't go into the woods, don't go into the woods' That's all I could think about now. But they weren't my family now. They were gone and there was nothing I could do about it. The tears poured more steadily down my face as I realized they realness of the past 24 hours. I had come home from school only to find that my Mom, the only of my family members left had left me forever. I had imagined her face and laughed at the thought. But they were serious. Still with my bag from school I left. Left the only good memories I had had. Left the house I had lived in my whole life. Left her like she left me.
