The Unknowing
I have no recollection of any events prior to my sixteenth birthday. This is the day I was supposed to get my seal. A seal is a tattoo saying whether your going to heaven or hell. Now here's the kicker, there is nothing you can do to change what is on there and everyone but you can read what it is. The ink is invisible to the person it is on. While no one can tell you what kind have tattooed on, because it is punishable by death, you can tell by the way people treat you. This society is rampant with prejudice and I know there is a resistance. I'll tell how I know. Right before I got my tattoo, men with guns and ink covering their skin shot and killed all the workers in the facility. I hid and escaped when it was safe. I am now illegal because of it and now I am on the run. These men are after me. If you see me my name is Scarlett Jane Joseph, I am 16 years old, and I don't know where I am going after I die. Please help.
