Complexities of Life
Conquering life's complexities one day at a time.
DAY 1:
His world was spinning; His vision: a blur.
He felt like a child again; Playing on the merry-go-round.
His mind: caught up in the whirl.
He put his hand to his head... "Vertigo," he muttered, under his breath.
DAY 2:
Dark sky; crescent moon; flickering lights.
My eyes sparkle from the iridescence.
Alas, not a star in the sky.
DAY 3:
Small glistening sugar cubes on a plate.
There were three of them.
One for the Mother; one for the Father; one for little Willy.
The couple drank their tea; ants ate the last sugar cube.
