The Forest
The forest was awake. The birds awoke from their slumber, the woodland animals emerged from their hideouts. The sun peeked out from behind the mountains, the sky a clear blue. Clear, clean water bubbled over rocks and branches, creating a small stream. It was calm and peaceful. But that was before they came. They came in the masses. They trampled through the forest, destroying everything in their path. They cut down trees and turned the sky gray with pollution. The once clear stream is now muddy and filled with garbage, and the once beautiful forest has now been overrun with human waste.
