I spent a week at my uncle’s cabin and it was an interesting experience, the first night was probably the best I arrived at around 5 pm the sun had a mesmerizing golden glow and so I spent 5 minutes looking at it before my uncle called me to the cabin it was almost mystical and very beautiful there were red, blue, and orange butterflies and I couldn’t help but wish I was flying with them experience the world through their small. gaze since it was my first night my uncle showed me around, he took me on a beautiful path illuminated by lanterns that shone bright with moths flying about around them transfixed by their bright glow we made it to the crystal-clear lake it was truly a sight to behold scattered around were flowers of all colors blue, maroon, orang, and purple I picked up a few blue flowers inspecting their beautiful blue petals before taking a look at the lake. There were fish swimming about and I pondered how their lives were. ‘How are these fish’s everyday lives?’ I thought as I inspected them, they were very beautiful and unique looking so were multiple colors others a solid color. After that we went to a campsite next to the cabin and we lit the fire the flames were shining bright i was mesmerized by the fireflies. it was peaceful a nice break from the loud busy city there were gigantic trees blanketing the forest aside from the fire crackling there was a deafening silence neither of us dared to speak to break the silence we were almost in a trans like state mesmerized by the fire before my uncle snapped out of it and said we should go back to the cabin the cabin was large and wooden it looked very aged like it was standing tall for years and was finally starting to give in to mother nature after years of being in shape it looked ragged extremely aged but standing tall. Inside the cabin the air was crisp but cool it had a sweet scent it was very spacious as I walked to my room, I looked out the window and saw wild animals acting the way they always have hunting for food chasing down smaller animals I ignored it and continued to my room I laid down and as soon as my head hit the soft pillow I was asleep I woke up around midnight it was dark but I still stepped outside to breath the fresh air I heard the howling of wolves and decided to go back inside and sat by the warm fire place and the rest of the week went very similar I saw rare plants and such then I went back to the city it was as usual loud and bright but it was home.
