"Woah Man."

A mother bird sat with her two hatch-lings in her nest teaching them the ways of flying. “You must believe you can in order to do" she told them with wisdom in her voice. The two brothers stepped up to the edge, the first jumped and yelled "I have faith in myself!" and he flew, soaring and diving, turning and twisting, seeming to float with no effort at all. The second waited with fear in his heart and doubt in his mind. He jumped over the edge and gave his wings a few half-hearted flaps. He plummeted like a sack of rocks in water. One of them died while the other survived just because he believed he could.

I was inspired to write this based on Aesop's Fables.
