All he grew to know was white. It blurred in and out of focus. White walls were folded around him that created a Closterphobic feeling that grew to comforting. The steady beep of the heart monitor was the only life in the bleak silence. This state of reputation became the only thing he knew. The dull beep and the stiff cotton, none of it ever changed. Reality became this cycle, beeps, cotton and white masks.
When he saw the white people, wearing their white coats with their white facemasks, he thought nothing. This world was nothing but it was bliss. This bliss was nothing, no thoughts, no hunger, and no pain. He had been in this state all his existence, and he knew nothing of another world. Life continued on in this fashion, until he became unplugged.
The plug was pulled in a harsh fashion; all light rushed out like someone had begun the drain the bathtub. The feeling of bliss became confusion and every feeling began to rush like a wave. Pain, fear and sadness slapped him as the darkness became life like the white had once been.
The darkness became his doom; no feeling was felt here besides longing for the white room. He began to grow insane, trying to find the exit. Kicking, screaming and crying. He was the only thing that existed and the lonesomeness became suffocation.
It felt as though he was old when the light slowly began to return to him. Dull talons reached in and ripped him harshly from the darkness. The light was blinding and beautiful, and he knew he was saved. The talons placed him softly into more talons, but unlike the last these talons were warm and strong. He slowly turned his gaze upwards to see a soft beautiful being. He was no longer alone.
