I was walking home from school and as I walked along the sidewalk I seen something out of the corner of my eye, now I don't usually stop during my walk home mostly because I can't wait to get home and nap, but something inside me urged me to see what it was listening to my gut I turned toward the direction and saw: flowers, cards, burnt out incents, and teddy bears. They were all surrounding a picture of who looked about my age.

"Wow she's pretty." I thought, "Whats all this for?"

Deep in thought I looked around at all the things trying to figure out what all this is for and when I looked above the photo I saw a banner.

I read it aloud "You Are Forever Missed Rest In Peace Sasha Pierce..."

"What happened to this poor girl?" I wondered.

Waves of sadness washed over me, and I felt the need to give my condolences to her family, even though I didn't know her something in me screamed, "You need to do this.'"

And before I knew it I was walking up the path way towards the door. Once I finally reached my destination realization hit me like a ton of bricks.

"What am I doing? What am I going to say?" I thought frantically "This is crazy. They're going to think I'm crazy."

"Come on you can do this." I said giving myself some encouragement, not letting my doubts get to me I let out a shaky breath and ring the doorbell. I stand there for what seems like hours awkwardly swaying from side to side waiting for someone to answer the door.

"Maybe no one's home." I think.

But, just to make sure I peek through the window and what I see knocks the wind out of me and I stumbled backwards. I saw her... I-I saw Sasha Pierce, but not inside the house, she... she was in my reflection.

"I-I-I'm her." I stammered.

As soon as the words left my mouth, my eyes popped out of my head and my heart started to beat at an inhumane rate.

"I'm...I'm dead." I whispered

No more than two seconds later the door to Sash- I mean my house bursts open and I fall backwards in complete shock, I try to regain my composure and look up in absolute fear, and I see a bright light with thick fog spilling out of the door frame and somehow this scares me even more . I get up off the ground my body aching and I plan to make my escape, but then I hear a voice.

"Sasha, what are you doing child? It's time for supper." A soft but raspy voice says.

The voice sounds so familiar but I can't seem to remember, so I take a step closer to the door and squint I see a blurry figure but can't seem to make out who it is, so I take another step foward.

I gasp, "Grandma?"

"Come on sugar I've been waiting for you, lets get a move on before supper gets cold."

I stand there stunned but seeing her smiling face that I haven't seen in so long makes all the fear I was feeling vanish and I've never felt so content and ready in my entire life and without even realizing it I took another step towards the door.

"I need to go" I think as I take another step.

As I almost reach the thresh hold I look back at my shrine and lightly smile, "This is where I belong." I think.

And without another thought I yell "I'm coming grandma." as I step over the thresh hold.
