We're all normal in the most different ways

Elise stood at the edge of her window sill, looking down at the pavement five stories below her. All the events that’ve happened in her seven years of life have led to this. She subconsciously stroked the bruises that painted her arms, and jumped. She closed her blue eyes as her dark hair was whipped back by the wind. Instead of being crushed on the pavement her body flipped right side up and she was standing on a ladder. She opened her eyes and saw the ocean in front of her, she looked down and saw that the ladder stood on an island. She heard a strange sound.
Beep.      Beep.      Beep.      Beep.      Beep.      Beep.      Beep.      Beep.      Beep.
Cautiously, she climbed down. After her feet touched the sand she scanned her surroundings. In front of her stood a horse.
“Who are you?” She asks. To her surprise the horse actually responded.
“I am your childhood, both of us have gone so fast you barely knew it was there.”
Then the horse fled away and headed straight to the ocean. Shaken, Elise looks to the other side of the island and sees another girl, clutching to seven balloons as though they were her lifeline. Elise walked up to her. Upon getting closer Elise realized there were screams coming from the balloons. Each one so loud and bloodcurdling painful Elise couldn’t even make out what they were saying. She heard the noise again.
Beep.    Beep.    Beep.    Beep.    Beep.    Beep.    Beep.    Beep.    Beep.    Beep.
“W-what are those?”  Elise stutters to the girl.
The girl turns to her sadly.
“The sins of humanity.” She says still clutching them with a death grip.
“Why are you holding them so tight?” Elise says.
“If you let them slip- bad things happen to innocent people, just look at the bruises on your body.” She replies.
Elise looks at the shades of purple and blue that coat her arms.
“What do you mean?” She whispers.
“Wrath. That’s a very dangerous sin, that’s the one your parents would hold in until they came home to you.” The girl explains.
Elise walks away shaking. She goes up to a tree that sits in the middle of the ocean. Just then a crow flies up and lands on a branch in front of her.
“Who are you?” Elise asks frustrated.
       “Death.” The crow says calmly.
        “Why are you here?”
“After you jumped-you didn’t die right away, we didn’t want you to suffer that kind of pain after all you’ve been through so we brought you here.” The crow explains.
Beep.  Beep.  Beep.  Beep.  Beep.  Beep.  Beep.  Beep.  Beep.  Beep.  Beep.  Beep.
“Where’s here?!” Elise exclaims tears forming in her eyes.
“What’s happening?!” Elise started seeing spots of black and she began to feel dizzy.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
“She’s crashing!” A voice yells from nowhere.
Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.Beep.
Before Elise faded away the last thing she herd was an unfamiliar voice saying,
      “Time of death…16:02.”
