The Box On The Beach
She loved him, and he loved her.
They never told each other.
When She died, he never stopped.
He looked everywhere in time and space.
Now standing on the beach,
“I...I love you” she says crying,
“Quite right too” he says with a weak smile,
the smile she loves.
“And I suppose… if it’s my last chance to say it…”
Will that be the last time they see each other?
Will she ever know that he loves her too?
