The Birth of Day and Night

I dreamt i was the sun and i wished to hug the earth to rid it of its sorro. But as i approached the blue orb of life things began to get "Heated" I truly wished to expell the shadows of sorrow but realized that in doing so true pain would follow so i decided instead to give 12 hours of day and that same of night, balence would be my purpose and weather or not sorrow contiuned would be on the inhabitants hands alone.
