The Painting
He looked around and could see the glistening sand. The sand shined in his eyes and he took a whiff and smelled the salty ocean air. He could feel the warmth of the soft and smooth sand under his feet. Looking at the setting sun, he saw a few birds pass by. He saw a dog running up to him full of energy. The dog excitedly ran in circles around him, kicking up the sand. He could now faintly hear some calming music being played a just a little further up. He walked until he was able to see where the music was coming from. It was a restaurant. A small restaurant with a beautiful view of the beach and the ocean. The sky was a beautiful mixture of purple, orange, and yellow. He went into the small restaurant, ordered something, and spent a long time just staring at the sky. He then slowly closed his eyes and then suddenly found himself back in reality, staring at a painting.
