I stand outside the classroom, gazing up at the rain. It seems to pour on forever. The drops keep falling, until they start to slow down. Eventually, they completely stop falling. The clouds slowly start to clear out, revealing the blue sky. Then, I squint up and see faded colors in the distance. As minutes pass, I start to see light red, calm orange, bright yellow, lime green, and sky blue. More foggy colors appear above the first ones. This seems unusual and different from the other rainbows I had seen before. I realize that there are two rainbows! The rainbows look like bridges through the sky, while the sun starts to shine high. It is an amazing sight to see. I had never seen two rainbows at once until now. Students start to smile and point at the rainbows, murmuring to each other. Waiting for the rain to stop was definitely worth it to see the rainbows.
