One day in Spring Lake, there was a family that lived at a house on beach drive with a son named Tim and a baby on the way. Tim and his cousin, John, were best friends, just like their dads. Tim and John would do everything together such as going to the beach, walking along the boardwalk, and eating together. You name it they did it. One afternoon, Tim's mom brought up a topic of them moving. Tim was too young to understand what they were talking about, but he had a feeling it was not good. Later that day when Tim was going to bed, he overheard his parents talking about it just outside of Tims's room.

The next day when Tim got up, he did not think much about it. He and his cousin, John, went to the beach that day. Tim and John, with both of their dads, went swimming and had a lot of fun. Shortly after they got out of the water Tim took a nice nap. One hour later when his family was getting ready to go home, he heard his parents talking about it. Tim started to think about it and realized that his family was going to move and not his cousins. Tim kept thinking about that throughout the rest of the day. He was really worried that he and John would not be close anymore like they were growing up. When Tim was going to, he then heard his parents talking about it again. That night he was having horrible dreams about losing his cousin who was his best friend.

The next day when Tim woke up, he and John found out they were going on a trip to Bergen County, New Jersey. Tim was super excited. When it was time to leave, Tim hopped in his car seat and there they went up to North Jersey. On the way there, Tim started to not feel so good. Tim and John thought he was getting car sick. The car was going to get sick if Tim did not stop coughing. Tims's father said, “It will be ok, you just have to wait another hour for a big surprise.” It made Tim feel a bit better knowing that there was a surprise waiting for him up there. When they arrived at their hotel, Tim was amazed by how many stores there were along the road and everything. Tim was in a place that he would want to call home. Tims's father heard that and knew he made the right choice. The first thing they did there was going to a house on 4 saddle ridge road. While they were there Tim thought it was a cool place and loved where it was. Tims parents both liked it too, they knew this was the one.  

The next morning when Tim woke up, he was in the car. They were on their way back to the house to discuss stuff with the real estate agent.  When they arrived, the real estate agent was waiting for them outside of the house. If you ever looked at the house, you could tell it needed to be redone. Tim's parents were talking for about an hour before they came back to the car. When in the car Tim's dad announced that they were going to be moving. Tim was super excited to be moving, but he remembered about John. 

The next day John was at Tims's hotel when Tim woke up. John and Tim were very sad knowing they might not be living too close anymore. Tim was as sad as it is to see pictures of your dead relatives. Right when they said that Tims's parents announced that both John and Tims's families were moving into Ridgewood and HoHoKus. Tim and John were super happy and very excited that they could now keep their bond and grow their friendship over the course of the rest of their lives. 

2 weeks later, Tim is about to move into his new house and the same with John. Tim is in the car on his way to his new home. They have the last trip of furniture and their belongings in their car right now. They still own their house, but they are not going to live in it and just keep it owned and maybe rent out in the future. When they arrived at Tims's family's new house they were all so excited. Although they would need to renovate it, they still loved it. They walked around the house and told the movers where to put the furniture. This was a decently long process taking about 3 hours. After it was done, it was 9 clock and Tim was ready for bed. 

The next morning Tim had a great wake-up call to people slamming hammers against the wall. Tim had no idea what was going on so he walked downstairs and their whole floor was being renovated. He was in full shock when he saw everything, his jaw was hanging to the ground. He saw his dad and then his dad explained to him that they were renovating so everything was going to be nice. 

The next day Tim went to his cousin's house to stay away from all the noise and commission. When he was there, it was actually pretty nice. They went straight to the basement and played with legos. Tim was having a very joyful time at his cousin's house. For breakfast, they walked to a dinner that was in the town of Ridgewood. The dinner they had was very good and after they walked down the street to get ice cream. After that, they went back to Tims's family's house. 

6 months later, Tims's family's house was almost done. All they were waiting on was the stove for the kitchen. The house looked amazing, the kitchen was huge and the vaulted ceilings in the family room were spectacular. The master bedroom was huge and had two walk-in closets. Tim and John both had amazing houses and are not able to grow their friendship together until they move again.
