A friendship is a knot that ties two unknown people together in a relationship that is fun, crazy, and above all incredible. Damien and Joel are two unknown children who became friends in kindergarten. The thing that started this friendship was the childish behavior and pure love that had no other intentions. As time went by, the friends became more than friends, they were just like brothers to each other. They build this relationship at different stages of their life. As they grew older, they moved to elementary where they would play, eat and of course, sometimes they would fight over small things, but it was not the fight that could break the knot that they had. Those fights were as small as them.   

   Time goes by, Damien and Joel started going to middle school and intermediate and would have the same relationship as before, they would do all the activities together from eating to playing, and of course, those fights would be there but as they grew so did the argument that they would have but the relation was still unbreakable. 

 continuously, from kindergarten to high school, Damien and Joel stayed together. On the first day of high school started, they were excited to be grown and of course, be together. But it was this time that they were unknown. It was the high school that had brought distance in their friendship. It was in high school when they had to see this strong knot untied. 

  Several days passed  the friendship was still pretty strong but the day came when a new guy named Justin joined their school. This day started all the problems in their friendship, or shall we say it was Justin that created all these problems.

    Damien and Joel were very smart and had a lot of similarities but one of the biggest differences was that Damien wanted to fit in with the kids and the new trend whereas Joel was down to earth. Joel was not just smart but also clever enough to understand and take responsibility while on the other hand, while Damien was just like a piece of glass that could be broken very easily. As Justin took some classes with Damien, he was able to understand how it was very easy to wrap Damien around his fingers. Of course, Justin started this intentional friendship to take Damien for granted.

   Justin started this strategy to do the thing that Damien wanted to but couldn’t as he never fitted in with the cool  kids. Justine included Damien in all the activities and acted to show he cared for Damien but one thing that Damien was unaware of was Justin was using him to get his work done and get much more. As this friendship started to build, the friendship that Damien and Joel had started to break as Joel stopped Damien from doing a lot of the things that Damien would do. And finally, the day came when this friendship no longer existed, Justin forced Damien to steal Jazmin’s phone to get her number as Justin liked Jazmin. 

 As Joel becomes aware of this plan, he suddenly stops Damien from acting out but since Justin had put this evil thought about Joel in Damien's mind, he does not listen to his old friend and decides to go in the wrong direction. Although Damien had refused Joel, he still thought about all the years that they have spent together and stopped Damien for the very last time as friends. Damien listened to Joel for a moment as they had this little friendship left, but the negativity toward Justin overtook Damien's mind and forced him to slap Joel. 

 And this was the moment that ended their friendship and the memories they had built for years. Finally, the day that no one knew came, as planned Damien goes to Jazmin’s class during lunch and decides to steal her phone as soon as he turns around, Jazmin walks into the room, but Damien did complete his task and left the room. What about the phone now? 

 As soon as Jazminz finds that her phone is missing, she called the office and had everybody's bag checked. Of course, the phone was brought on Justin's demand, but as Justin knew the after consequences, he had planned things that Damien was fully unaware of. As the principal went through the bags, he found the phone, but it was not in Justin or Damien's bag it was found in Joel's bag. 

 As Joel was shocked, so was Damien who had no idea about Justin putting Joel in trouble. As Joel gets suspended now, Damien talks to Justin and argues about how he should have told him about it. Justin stands there laughing and says,'' If you could break the trust of your long-lasting best friend, why can't I break the trust of an idiotic friend whom I took for granted".

  Damien stayed there in shock, and later that day, The teacher finds out the truth through the cameras and suspends Damien and Justin as well as bringing Joel back to school. In the end, Damien lost his best friend and respect. and Joel learns the lesson of how someone very close to you could be as harsh as someone who knows nothing about you. The story finishes, and they all lost something in some way, for some it was punishment and for others, it was a lesson.
