Dating Disaster
Owen called up Lily, his girlfriend who was new to his school. He wanted to ask if she'd like to go out to dinner with him.
"Hello?" asked the voice on the phone.
"Hey Lily, it's Owen," said Owen. "Do you want to go to Giuseppi Giordano's with me?" Giuseppi Giordano's was a fancy Italian restaurant.
"Sure," answered Lily. "I'll see you at six."
Owen thanked Lily and hung up the phone. He got dressed in his black suit and copper tie. He brushed his dirty blonde hair and drove to Giuseppi Giordano's. Once there, he was shocked to see something unplanned: Lily was with her friends.
"Lily!" shouted Owen. "What's going on?"
"Oh hey Owen," said Lily.
"I brought some friends with me."
"I-I thought it was just you and me," said Owen confused.
"No, I never said that," said Lily.
"Well that's it Lily. I'm breaking up with you."
Lily looked astinoshed.
"Don't give me that look. It's your fault."
Owen left the restaurant and the date was screwed.
