Stormy Weather
As I stood on the stairs I could feel the sun smiling down upon me with it's warmth and acceptance. The sky was a bluish gray, a real beautiful shade. Each time the wind would blow, the trees would sway and I would feel more exhilarated, like life itself was being thrusted forth into my body. I took a deep breath. It was going to storm, I could tell because of the unusual quiet. However, I didn't care if it rained. I needed the rain to come cleanse me, to wash away all my worries. I stepped up a few more stairs then stopped to listen, I could hear nothing but the soft breeze. I was alone, alone with just my thoughts. I had just finished making my way up the last few steps when I heard the first crack of thunder. A wide grin then spread across my entire face as the rain began to fall.
