Love Lost
Dear Lost,
I just want you to know that even if we didn’t know each other for very long I miss you. You were the one that thing that mattered in life when nothing else did. You brought me joy when the one that helped create you brought me pain and I thank you so much for that. Before I wrote this I wondered, why did you have to go? I tried to take care or you the best I could, protect you, and love you. All the arguing you heard was not over you, but for you. I and your father only wanted the best for you, for you to have highs and not the lows of life. I finally figured out why god took you from us. He gave you what we couldn’t; a happy, everlasting life and I thank him for that. So I don’t mourn your death but celebrate your going home to a higher place.
Love,
The mother who never got to be…
