Caught
Caught
A call is what she received, anxious, excited, and nervous, yet ready to take on this adventure for the fourth time. What she didn’t know was that this time…this time was going to be the time she was caught. As she waited for her supervision to fall into a deep sleep she realized this may take a while and a while was too long for her. Plan B popped into her mind that the only way out now was through the window. Out the window and onto the streets of her neighborhood she walked wearing baggy sweatpants, an enormous jacket, and sneakers. With a kitchen knife in her backpack she walked the streets becoming sweaty, beginning to look over her shoulder every five seconds as if someone was watching her. Vehicles passed, people from their doorstep starred, and lights shinned down. Is this how being in a horror movie felt? She wondered as she texted her destination back. Halfway there and she never made it. They came for her to push her to the ground, check her bags, and even cuff her. Can you believe that they thought she was a prostitute? After the tears came, she was placed into the back of the car begging and pleading them not to call her supervisors. It was too late they had already snatched her sister’s phone and called. She hung her head low in the backseat letting the tears flow until her supervision came to claim her. It was all over. She was home after ten minutes leaving her destination to wonder what had happened. In the room she was beaten, choked, smacked, and abused until there was no life in her body. In the end she dragged herself back to where she started, crawled into bed, and managed to call her destination only to tell that she had been…..CAUGHT.
