DRAMA OF THE WEEK


Part 1

It was a sunny day at the Wilsan Drama Academy where all student like to become actor and actress, drama queen and comedy king. “How can you forget your lines ?” said a short, loud 13 year old girl name Jessica whose black long curly hair which bounces each time she walks. “It was just five lines, five lines !?”said Jessica as she walks into a classroom, “Well sorry, it wasn't entirely my fault that my stage fright is like a on and off switch.” said tall, 14 year old boy name Mike who try out as the narrator 2 for the school play which was A Holiday to Remember but when it was time to shine, he froze and he was frozen for a long time that someone's carried him off the stage. How Mike got the scholarship to the Wilsan Drama Academy that is a life mystery that will be unknown. He is a pretty good actor but when it comes to stages he is terrified of them and that another life mystery will be unknown. Suddenly there knock then was a crash at the door and everybody look to see what happen, the door was on the ground with screws unscrew. There was boy leaning in his wheelchair with his hand up looking like he was about to knock again before the door fell, his name is Perry. Perry is a light brown hair 13 year old boy who usually in charge of the backstage crew, sound and light system for every school play. “Think the door was too loose for the screws.” said Perry, there was a dark brown headed girl standing right next to him who was his twin sister, her name is Maddie. Maddie always took the leading role for most of the school play from A Mystery of Book to A Day in Middle School and this year she was to try for leading role of the A Holiday to Remember which was Ebony Sue. By the end of class the teacher, Mr. Examo stand up on a desk, when Mr. Examo has something important to announce he usually stand up on top of a desk. Mr. Examo said “The school is trying to raise money to fixing the school as you see some of the door and desk are in need of fixing so selling the school play tickets is part of our fundraising. Also try out for the school play A Holiday to Remember are to end by the end of the week, so far most of the main characters have been pick out there is still plenty of extras so the last few main characters are Narrator 2, Joey,and James. So hurry up to tryyyyyyyyy..........” one of the legs of the table broke, the teacher fell but he was safe until the lemon cream pie on his desk that one of the student give instead of an apple flip onto his face and all you can see yellow cream face. “What happen in class today ?” said Jessica as she and Mike both walk home, “Well, today I learn that I should never, ever stand on a desk that has a lemon cream pie on.” said Mike, Jessica had a strange look on her when he said that and then she open her mouth about to ask, “Don’t ask.” said Mike, “OK.” she said. “And I also learn that the try out for the school play is going to end soon and there is only three main character opening left and one of them is Narrator 2 and I don’t want to one of the extras.” he said. “Being an extras isn't that bad.”said Jessica, she is usually is an extra for the school plays “ You should ask my other friend Perry for advice he had stage fright before, not like the one you have but similar.” she said. “But how he can have stage fright if never try out for school plays before, he has always been in charge the backstage crew, sound and light system for all the plays how he get stage fright if been anywhere else but backstage.” he said. “That why you always see him backstage, he only try out once but it didn't turn out so well.” said Jessica “But he has the secret to cure your stage fright and you could ask him at school tomorrow.”
