Ding! Cinderella received a text on her new Iphone 5.
“Who wants help on their homework now?!” Cinderella asks annoyingly. She didn’t recognize the phone number but opens the text anyway:
“Party at Leroy’s house tonight at 10:00. Invite EVERYONE!!!!”
“This must be a mistake I would never get invited to a party at Leroy’s house,” she stops to think for a second, “or at anyone’s house,” Cinderella finished with a long sigh.
“Well maybe I can find some people that actually like me there. But what if those nasty little spoiled brat ‘sisters’ go. I would have to avoid them or else they would definitely tell their mother. And I’ll have to be back by midnight because their mother checking my room too.” After a little while of thinking Cinderella decided to go to the party but to be very careful and keep her eye on the time and on her step sisters. Then she went back to listening to her favorite band, My Chemical Romance.

Cinderella gives a deep sigh and says,

“Now, all I have to do is find something to wear.” She looks through all of her dresses and decides it’s definitely not going to be a party for dresses. She then goes over to her pants and shorts and sifts through those to try and find her favorite pair, skinny jeans that are ripped at the knees and black with some spots faded away. After twenty minutes of searching Cinderella finally finds her jeans and struggles to squeeze her legs into them. She is already wearing her favorite shirt. It has a picture of her favorite singer, Andy Biersack. Then she grabs her My Chemical Romance sweatshirt and heads toward the stairs.
“I’m going to bed!” Cinderella yells up the stairs, from her room in the basement, to her stepmother. Then she walks over to her window and feels the cold rush of wind pass by her. As Cinderella climbs out she is very careful not to get her outfit dirty before she even gets to the party. About half way to Leroy’s house she realizes she has forgotten her phone.
“Whatever, it’s not like anyone’s gone text me anyway,” Cinderella tells herself as she continues walking. As she arrives at the house Cinderella can hear the music clearly from the outside. She hesitates a little before ringing the doorbell. When Cinderella finally does she is not sure who opens the door because the whole house is packed with people.

Cinderella enters and the first thing she does is find somewhere to sit. She doesn’t have very many friends so she’s going to have to try and talk to some people that look like her type. Thirty minutes into the party Cinderella is still sitting trying will up the courage to go and talk to someone.
“You need to get off of your lazy butt and go talk to someone,” she scowls herself in a whisper. So then she stands up and walks towards a group that seems pretty nice and welcoming. As she walks up she is pretty sure one of them notices her and closes up the circle even more than it was before. Cinderella isn’t sure if that was on purpose or not, but either way she just forgets them and walks back to where she was sitting because she has lost all of the courage that she had built up. So she sat down on the end of a couch and took her sweatshirt off, because it was getting a little hot with all of the people in the two story house.

Cinderella notices it is 11:11 P.M. and decides to make a wish, although she usually never does this kind of thing because she never believed in it. She thought maybe this time it might just work. As if her wish worked Leroy stepped out of one of the groups of guys began to walk toward her. Then as if it was their job to ruin everything her sisters stopped Leroy and started talking to him.
“MY SISTERS?!” Cinderella thought as she frantically hopped up and walked towards the front door to leave. As she was about to turn the handle on the door she feels someones hand on her shoulder and a deep steady voice say,
“Why are you leaving so early?” Cinderella slowly turned around, her heart pounding. When she turned around she saw Leroy. They make eye contact , Cinderella threw up all over him, and a second later rushed out the door .She then ran all the way home, glancing back every once and a while as if someone was chasing her.

Cinderella got home and quickly and quietly slid in her window not caring if her pants got dirty. She climbed up into her bed and tried started crying her eyes out. Cinderella knew she had ruined any chance of being even friends with Leroy, who had been her crush for over four years. She just sat there for hours trying to stop the tears of embarrassment, but nothing stopped them. Eventually Cinderella cries herself to sleep.

The next day Cinderella does not go to school because she is to embarrassed of what happened at the party. She doesn’t even get out of her bed. She thinks to herself,
“I want to just curl up under the biggest rock in the world and die. How will I ever go back to that school and not be picked on.” So Cinderella waits out the day and at the end goes back to sleep.

In the morning Cinderella wakes up and decides to go to school and just hide in her sweat-
“MY SWEATSHIRT!” She exclaims as she remembers she never grabbed it before she rushed towards the door. That sweatshirt was very important to her and she would never get it back. She couldn’t even imagine what they did to her sweatshirt at the party.

Cinderella got to school and kept her head down with the hood of her sweatshirt up all day. She managed to get through all of her classes with only a few people bothering her. But she just ignored all of them and didn’t talk to anyone. At the end of the day Cinderella saw nobody in the hallway so she put her hood down and as if that was a signal Leroy turned the corner in front of her. She quickly put her hood up and turned around towards the bathrooms. Before she reached them she heard Leroy yell,
“Hey! Wait!” So Cinderella turned around, took off her headphones, and awaited the torture to start.
“Hey are you that girl that threw up on me last night?” Leroy asked.
“Yes,” Cinderella replied quietly.
“Well I think you left your sweatshirt at my house,” He held out the sweatshirt that she didn’t even realize was in his hand.
“Sorry and thanks.” Cinderella was about to walk away when Leroy interrupted,
“Hey, I never caught what your name was.”
“Cinderella,” she replied with a quiet uneasy voice,
“You should give me your number so I can text you sometime. You seem like a cool person, except for the puking on me part.”
Cinderella giggled a little bit and said,
“Ok.” Leroy quickly whipped out his phone and opened a new contact. He handed it to Cinderella. She typed in her number and gave the phone back. She began to walk away again and Leroy said,
“It was nice meeting you Cinderella, I’ll text you later.” Not wanting to reply but also not wanting to be rude she said back,
“Ok, bye.”
