It was four years ago, when Adam Starling met his true love. They met in the Paper Pulp library. Jim was looking for book titled At First Sight that written by his favorite author, Nicholas Spark. When he found the book, he brought the book to the librarian immediately. At the other side of the library, there was a woman named Eve Brickman who was reading the same book that Jim wanted to borrow. When the rain fell little by little, Eve rushed to bring the book to the librarian because she wanted to get back to her apartment as soon as possible. At the librarian’s counter, they arrived and gave the book at the same time. At that moment, the saw each other and smiled because it was kind of weird when they gave the same book to the librarian. The librarian just smiled at that time. She took the books and put code book to the list.

It looked like they’re destined to be together, when they wanted to get back to their own place, they also stopped the same taxi. The rain was getting heavier, so that situation forced them to take that taxi. At that time, they felt absurd because they didn’t know each other and so many incidents that put them together. Adam couldn’t stand his curiosity, so he started getting known about Eve with ask and talk about some topics. From that incident, they were been closer with each other.

The next year, Adam proposed Eve and they got married. In their second years of wedding, Eve was pregnant. Time by time, they were waiting for their baby. Doctor had told them that their baby would be a girl. Eve was very happy to hear that, because she expected to have a little girl. In the middle of spring, Eve gave birth to the baby girl. The baby was so beautiful just like her mother. But, Eve was bleeding so severe and she couldn’t survive.

Losing his wife wasn’t mean losing his life too; Adam tried to survive with his little girl. After losing his wife, Eden was everything for Adam. Adam took care Eden until she grow up. Eden became very closer to her father. Though, she only lived with her father, Eden was still happy.

Year by year, Eden grew to be a beautiful and independent woman. She wasn’t a little girl anymore. She was like her mother replica. Adam realized the changes of his little girl lately. And he also realized one thing for sure that Eden would leave him someday. Adam didn’t want the time when Eden will leave him is happen. He didn’t want to lose his little girl.

One day, Eden invited her boyfriend to come to her house. Suddenly, Adam was angry and he asked Eden’s boyfriend to go away. Since that day, Adam forbade Eden to dating without apparent reason. Eden who could not accept it, decided to live independently. Eden moved into a small apartment which located so far away from her father's house. Though Eden knew it would hurt her father. But Eden did all this for the sake of her future. Eden worked hard to achieve her goals until she gets the job more than worth it.

Adam regretted his action that causes Eden leave him early. No one likes curbed, and Adam knew it. So, Adam didn’t looking for Eden and let her grow and evolved according to her dreams. Many years passed, Adam began sickly. He was too much thinking of his little girl. At the other side, Eden regretted her action too. She is too much in take a decision. Eden thought that she need time to go back to her father’s house in decent.

Six years later, Eden dared to return to her father’s house. She’s not alone. This time, she took the decision that she feels right. She went to her father’s house with his fiancé. As she entered his father's homepage, Eden feels very different. The house where she grew up is now looking very unfamiliar to her. Eden knocked the door hesitated. Adam opened the door and saw his little girl. His little girl was different now. She was more beautiful and more mature now. Eden hugged her father when she stunned to see her father getting old and frail. Eden cried in her father’s arms. Adam also cried when he saw someone behind his little girl. A manly man was standing behind his little girl. He knew this is the time. This time, he wouldn’t forbid his little girl to determine her own future.

Adam stood up straight holding his little girl's hand. He felt her little girl’s hand was a little shaky. She looked so pretty in that white dress. Adam tried to smile bravely, he felt his heart churned. In front there, stood a man who would accompany his little girl until the end of time. And beside him, stood his little girl who is going to pick her happiness soon. Adam was a little bit sad to know that his little girl is going to leave him, but when he saw the smiles of happiness on the face of his little girl, Adam was touched by that.

The bell was sounded, Adam assured her little girl once again and they walked down the aisle. There came the strains of Canon in D that echoing throughout the church corner. The atmosphere is so emotive and beautiful. Before they reached the altar, Eden said to his father, “Dad, no matter how much I love my husband in the future, I'll always be your little girl. I always love you, Dad!”
