Jimmy
“Jimmy!!! JIMMY YOU'RE GOING TO GET THERE LATE!!!”
*Step-Step-Step*
“Jimmy if i have to call your name one more time ima go up there and whoop your ass!!!”
*Step-Step-Step*
“Oh my God mom, i'm going!” Jimmy said, rolling his eyes and his face getting red.
Walking out the door his mother smacked him upside his head,
“Mamiiiiiiiii...”
“Que?, i told you to hurry up and you took longer, get your ass in the car before your late for your flight.”
They got in the car and they went to the airport, the whole ride there they had loud music playing.
*Tra-Tra-Tra-Tra-Tra-Tra*
They pulled up to the airport drop off area,
“M’am you're going to have to move.” Said the security officer.
“Tambien, I’m going.” She said.
“Okay, well bye Mom. See you next month I Love You!”
“Bye mi hijo, Te Amo.” She said as she drove off and left Jimmy there.
He went into the airport checked himself in did all that airport stuff and then sat down.
“Damn a whole 18 hours on the airplane in first class.” he thought to himself
“Flight 215 will now be boarding.”
“Oh Sh!t thats my flight.” He got up and hurried up to the boarding line.
After 20 minutes in line he finally got into the plane and sat down, and relaxed, turned off his phone put on his seat belt and shut his eyes. In a distant voice he heard a voice,
“Sir, Sir, we already landed .”
“Oh i must of fell asleep the whole trip here. Wow already?”
He got his bag and left the plane. It was so hot he was in Africa.
He saw a sign saying “JIMMY”.
Walking up to the sign he said, “I’m Jimmy.”
“Hello Jimmy, here let me take your bags.”
He took the bags and off they went, there was no cars where the Yali tribe lived so they had to walk. There were all kinds of tribes but Jimmy decided to stay with the Yali tribe.
“Welcome, we are delighted to have you here.” Jimmy was greeted by the whole tribe and a feast. They ate humans but they made the exception and killed a buffalo to ate. Surprisingly they liked it. But they still preferred human flesh. Cannibals.
“You will sleep here young man.” Waving his arm to a tent with two other young boys his age. Jimmy noticed the men and women slept in separate areas. Women slept in Cabins on one side of the woods and the men slept in tents on the other side.
“Damn a whole month here with these human flesh eating people, hopefully they don't eat me.” Jimmy thought to himself. He chuckled the boys looked at him in confusion.
“Where are you from Jimmy?” Asked on of the boys. elbowing the other boy in the side.
“I’m from the Philadelphia in the United States,I am Puerto Rican,” replied Jimmy quickly. The boys nodded in interest of what he was saying. They went back to what they were doing. Everyone was getting ready for bed it was only 8 o’clock.
“Why so early?” Jimmy whispered to himself, but got ready for bed.
“Guess im going to have to get use to sleeping early, i am staying here for a month, so might as well.” Jimmy thought to himself. Sighing as he laid down and slowly drifted to sleep.
*Cockadudaldo* Thats the sound he heard every morning.
They had strange rituals Jimmy just sat aside and watched in amazement. The way they moved, chanted, and dressed was so fascinating for him. Soon he began to join them in the rituals. It was like he was part of the tribe.
“Bye it was nice having you here,” said the head chief to Jimmy. Everyone joined in for a hug. Jimmy was sad to go.
“Bye I will see if i come back next summer.”
“Okay, have a safe trip,” they said as he drop off. Looking back Jimmy smiled and closed his eyes.
