Attending A Funeral
"We never got to say goodbye."
Confused I look at my father, standing over a casket.
A funeral. My funeral.
"She was a good girl," My cousin whimpers through tears.
I watch in horror, desperate to get up and shriek, "I'm fine!"
I long to comfort them, but can't.
It's too late, I'm gone.
Dead.
