Teenagers
Styles: (winking at Margret) Yes my mom is coming, we have to get rid of all these people and clean up all the beer before she gets here so it doesn't look like we threw a crazy party.
Margret: Crap. (announces to everyone in the house) COPS!
(All the party goers take their beer and run outside, away from the house)
Styles: (To Margret) Quick, you get the vacuum and get rid of the alcohol stains in the carpet, my mom will be home in almost thirty minutes, we don't have much time! Just puff the couch cushions so it looks like nobody sat there, 'nd get rid of all the snacks and whatever evidence, it has to look like you and I have been here ALONE the whole night! Hurry! If she finds out... I'LL BE DEAD!
Margret: You mean grounded for the rest of high school, right?
Styles: You know exactly what I mean! I'm going to clean the kitchen countertops and uh... find anything else that resembles a crazy house party!
Styles and Margret both scramble around the house to clean up.
Margret: STYLES! There are lights shining into the window, I think your mom is home, EARLY!
They both continue to clean and jump on the couch and turn on the T.V.
Mom: (She opens the door and looks around the house for her son, Styles, who is sitting casually on the couch, watching a workout program) Hi sweetie, Hello Margret. How was your night?
Margret: Good Mrs-
Styles: Hey Mom. Glad to see you home! How was your trip?
Mom: Great, let me put my things down in the kitchen (walks to the kitchen and picks up a jacket left on the barstool) Margret, is this your jacket?
Margret: (puzzled because she hadn't worn a jacket all day looks up at Style's mom) Um, yes, it is... mine.
Mom: (sniffs the jacket) It smells like beer and cigarettes.
Margret: (quickly grabs the jacket) Um… It’s my brother’s jacket; he let me borrow it for the night.
(Margret stands awkwardly before looking to Styles for help)
Styles: Uh, hey mom, so tell us about your trip and stuff.
Mom: Well it was full of suits and briefcases, but it was still work nonetheless.
(Awkward silence follows as Margret plans to leave)
Margret: Well I should get home; it’s getting pretty late.
Mom: Ok sweetie, see you later.
Styles: I’ll walk you to the door, Margret.
(Both teens shuffle to the door in relief)
Margret: What a night.
Styles: Yeah, tell me about it.
Margret: Talk to you tomorrow.
Styles: See ya.
(Styles closed the door to find his mother with her arms crossed her chest, staring at him intently as he enters the kitchen again)
Styles: Something wrong mom?
Mom: …oh no, nothing’s wrong.
Styles: (feeling nervous) Ok, well I’m going to bed, goodnight mom.
Mom: Night sweetie.
(Styles makes his way up the stairs when his mom calls after him halfway)
Mom: Oh and Styles…
Styles: (voice shaking) Yes mom?
Mom: The next time you throw a crazy house party while I’m away, you’re dead.
(A shocked Styles grabs some words together is disbelief)
Styles: Y… yes ma’am.
(Styles runs upstairs)
Styles: (to himself) I’m calling Margret first thing in the morning!
