Time Is All
Time is such a precious thing, some might compare it to currency but to me time is the most valuable thing there is, the younger you are the quicker you would wish it would go by the older you get you wish it didn’t go by so quickly. You only have a certain amount of time, and some more than others. That is why I encourage you whether you are 8 or 80 to spend every second like you might die the next, do things you wouldn’t normally do, because you never know when your time could run out. Time is something that cannot be stopped, it continues to tick and all you can do about it is keep going. Would you rather look back at something and regret doing it or look back at something and constantly wonder what could have happened, or how something could have turned out? Wouldn’t you rather know what happened instead of what could have? Think of all the times you’ve passed something up and have really regretted it later, don’t you wish there was a way to turn back time? The world is filled with people who wish they would of done something different or had more time to do something. After death is unknown so whatever you want to do, do don’t let anything hold you back. Could you possibly imagine what the world would be like if some of the most iconic people from history were discouraged? For example, what if JFK never became President? The world would be extremely different than today. Sadly there isn’t a way to extend or increase the amount of time we are given but that is why I urge you to take advantage of your time while you still can. Do everything you can, be busy constantly. The problem with people today is whenever they are simply “bored” they waste time on their phone instead of using that valuable time to do something much more productive. People just started using their time less wisely and I think that is why I feel the need to urge this matter to most. Don’t put off tomorrow what you can do today, time is the most valuable thing we have and there is no reason to waste it. With so many things to do and so many things to see, why waste your time sitting on your phone all day complaining about being bored? Most people can’t even comprehend the power they have and they think too small, but the saying, “anything is possible” happens to be very true. If you knew you could do anything in the world eventually, and all that was required was time and practice why wouldn’t you want to do it? You can ask any champion, CEO or whoever you idolize and they will tell you all it takes to be in their position is time and a lot of effort. I was once told, “when the bleachers are empty and the stadium is quiet that is when champions are made./” I encourage you to put in the extra time and work at whatever it might be and truly become great and watch it happen.
