Everyone has problems; they are an everyday occurrence. However, solutions cannot always be as quickly discovered for everyone, but for Gwendolyn her solution came easily.
Gwendolyn had a problem; her problem was Josh. Her solution: she needed to get rid of him; the question was how?

Josh was popular; athletics and ruggedly, good looks attributed to popular status. He was most girls dream guy; incidentally, he was Gwendolyn’s as well. Well, he was her crush; however, he ruined that. Here’s where her problem comes into play. Gwendolyn doesn’t like liars; nevertheless, he was the greatest one of them all. She tried to be nice to him; she tried to break him and his girlfriend up. When he found out, he said that she was a jealous, conniving, heart-breaker, yet she’s wasn’t one. His girlfriend was the jealous, conniving, heart-breaker; he just couldn’t see it. Then when she started showing up at the same time as him at all the same places as him, he called her a stalker. A STALKER of all things! She was just trying to do the things he liked to do, but he didn’t see it that way. He spread rumors about her; people glared at her and taunted her wherever she went. They called her a freak, a weirdo, an outcast, but she didn’t deserve any of it. She was trying to be like him, so he would enjoy her company; meanwhile, he was spreading lies about her. He lied, and he needed to be taught to stop.

She needed a solution to my little problem; she had to find a way to teach Josh to stop his lies. She could’ve just warned him to stop all the lies and rumors, but he would have gone and lied some more. He would’ve lied and said she had “threatened” him; which she didn’t. So no, she couldn’t have just warned him. Next idea; then, she had the solution. She needed to kill him; besides, he wasn’t ever going to learn his lesson if she let him live. How could he kill him though? Gwendolyn knew a guy that could get her acid; she could let the acid dissolve him into nothing. No, that wouldn’t do; it wouldn’t allow him to think about his lies. Running him over, poisoning his lunch, and drowning him wouldn’t either; there was only one way. He needed time to think before he died, so she’d give him the chance.

Her plan was to “bump” into him on his morning run, and she’d pinch him in the neck (to make him pass out). Then, she’d drag him to the old mill; next, she’d chain him in the restroom (in the management building beside the mill). If you didn’t know there was a restroom, you’d never find it. She would then proceed to brick up the doorway until only four bricks were missing, and wait until he awoke. Gwendolyn would then explain how he was a filthy liar; therefore, he was going to die by starving to death and dehydration. He’d scream and beg for her forgiveness, but she would just put the remaining bricks in and leave. And that’s exactly what happened.

When Josh’s parents reported him missing, Gwendolyn was one of the main subjects, yet they could never prove anything. All the police had was theories; all Gwendolyn had was her great planning skills. Josh’s lies and fabrications were her problem; her solution was to get rid of him. Now-a-days, Gwendolyn is a high school math teacher, but be cautious because if anyone ever lies to her or about her, well she won’t hesitate to solve her problem all over again.

This was a class assignment. We had to write a problem and solution essay. My teacher was surprised by my story...
