ran to my room, tears in my eyes. I laid down on my bed sobbing into my pillow. After a while, I stopped crying and sat up. I looked over to the side of my bed and saw my knife. I thought to myself "That's it... I'm going to do it. End all of my suffering." I took the blade in my hand and pressed it against my wrist. One. Two. Three. Blood began pouring out of my arm. I was calm, sleepy. I thought out loud, "Maybe if I go to sleep, I'll feel better when I wake." I laid my head on my pillow, blood still pouring out of my arm, and drifted off to sleep. To my dismay, I saw a bright light, and the sound of my mother sobbing, begging me through her tears for me not to leave. I woke up a couple hours later in the hospital. I had an IV in my arm and stitches on my wrist. I look towards the door and see a doctor and my parents talking. I couldn't make out what they were saying, but I knew it was about me. The doctor looked over and noticed that I was awake. He then proceeded to gesture my parents into the room, and walked away. My parents walked in and sat next to me on the bed. My mother pulled me in close, hugged me tightly, began to cry quietly, and whispered in my ear, "Never leave me baby... Please..."
