Autumn
A dewdrop hangs down from a golden-red maple leaf, ready to trickle down into a puddle of rainwater, freshened by the last rainfall. The small pool is cradled in the arms of spongy damp mud, soft and cold. A girl in ivory rainboots saunter through the wet field with an orange umbrella to shield from the crystal droplets falling from the vast autumn clouds up high. Crisp leaves crunch under the weight of the rubber boots. Rainwater douses the thick brown tree, water running in rivulets curving along the bumps of the tree. Smells of spice and cedar accompany the cold, frosty air. Misty winds and blades of grass speckled with dewdrops brought the perfect autumn day.
