Pharmacy
My stomach was infatuated and I knew I was in trouble. No one was home and I knew I had to help myself. I looked in the medicine cabinet and nothing was there. I knew what I had to do. I needed the medication that I forgot to take. My mom forgot to refill the prescription and I knew I needed to refill it myself. I limped out to my car and put on my seatbelt. I got to the pharmacy and while I was in line…. I saw him. I didn't know what to do or think. He turned around and looked at me. We stood in silence and studied each others faces. I tried to say hello but nothing came out. He said “Hi” and I said “Hi” as well. The pharmacist called my name and I went to the desk next to him. Our hands briefly touched for half a second. I was then distracted by the clerk as he gave me my medication. I looked next to me hoping to meet eyes again but he was already gone. Never to be seen again.

The amazing thing about this piece is that the guy in the scene is still a mystery to myself.
