The Princess Poodle
You can see the look in her eyes, she wants to run after the squirrel.
But she takes her favorite toy instead—from her butler.
With grace, she played tug of war and
lays in her pink castle of a home.
She eats her food with pinkies up and
a napkin tucked under her collar.
She meets kings and queens, bowing below each.
She travels the world in her private jet, exploring new places.
She gets professionally groomed,
every week with a relaxing bath and masaje.
She wears a tiara from dusk till dawn;
making sure it does not slip when eating or playing.
And yet all she wants to do is run.
Run away from the rules and regulations,
run with the wind.
Run and never come back.
