INT. CLASSROOM – EARLY AFTERNOON

It’s noon, class change is taking place in the hallway and Mrs. Bolony sits quietly at her desk. She is waiting patiently for her next class to arrive when all of a sudden SYDNEY and BRITTANY burst through her door!
MRS. BOLONY
(friendly, young voice)
What’s up gals?!

SYDNEY
(Urgent voice)
Mrs. Bolony, you’ll never guess what happened!

Mrs. Bolony drops her grade book, enthralled by what Syd and Britt have to say. All the while ignoring the 30 students sitting in her class, staring and waiting for her to start teaching.

MRS. BOLONY
(excited)
Ooooooo tell me!

BRITTANY
(whispers)
You’ll never guess who got sooo drunk this
weekend and made herself look super dumb.

The class quieted, straining to hear what BRITTANY and SYDNEY were going to say next. MRS. BOLONY looked up at the girls with a knowing look on her face.






MRS. BOLONY


Oh I could probably guess! Did it happen to be


ALEXIS cause I saw some pretty sketchy pics on


insta Saturday night when I was chillin with my


homies.

A few students giggled uncomfortably in the back of the room, as they pulled out their iphones, to record their strange teacher on vine.






SYDNEY




(Distracted slightly)


OMG! You have an Instagram?! Why don’t you
follow me?






MRS. BOLONY


Oh I do girlfriend, don’t you worry. So give
me the deets!




BRITTANY
Okay so we were all at Michael’s party and
ALEXIS came fashionably late of course with
a bunch of… you know (whispers) alcohol… in
her bag. You could totally tell she was looking
for a good time.




MRS. BOLONY
I can already tell where this is going!




SYDNEY

Okay so anyway, she had been there not even an
hour and she was already sloppy drunk. She kept
taking everyone’s drinks and it was really
annoying! But not mine cause I wasn’t drinking
(winks)

The whole class was quiet now intently listening to the story. A few of ALEXIS’ underclassmen friends whipped out their phones and texted ALEXIS about what was going on. A few of the more impatient students began getting antsy. KATIE EAST raised her hand after she couldn’t stand it any longer.





KATIE EAST




(Peppy, obnoxious voice)


Uhhhh Mrs. Bolony, excuse me, Mrs. Bolony. Uhhh
can we maybe like start class now?

Mrs. Bolony nonchalantly shoos off KATIE with the wave of her hand and continues listening to BRITTANY and SYDNEY.






BRITTANY


So eventually she was so drunk and just stumbling


everywhere and like she just fell into the pool.


(makes splash imitation with her hands)


no one really knew what to do… so we just left


her in there until she figured out how to get


out herself, which took a few minutes. So she


gets out of the pool, soaking wet obviously and


she’s just laughing hysterically.







SYDNEY




(Interupts BRITTANY)


So then she’s sitting on this chair, dripping


everywhere, when she looks over and sees Billy


with another girl, like no one even knew who it


was though. All of a sudden she jumps up and


marches over to him and starts screaming at him.


At this point everyone stopped to watch what was


going to happen. Billy was so embarrassed but


ALEXIS just kept yelling. No one could really


understand her though, it was like a big jumble


of words. Idk totally weird.






Mrs. Bolony




(Mouth hanging open)


Did anyone stop her?! I can’t believe she did


that!






BRITTANY


Yeah well finally someone went over and got


her and brought her inside. She was like still


yelling and stuff and I think eventually she


just started bawling. No one knew why, so she got
dumped on the couch and left inside for the
rest of the night. She was totally passed out
the last time I saw her before I left.




Mrs. Bolony
Wow. She is just ridiculous, well if this happens
again you guys just call me and I will totally
come and help you guys out!

Unannounced ALEXIS bursts through the door with a very angry expression on her face. The class’ head’s turn and in their minds know this is going to be get good. MRS. BOLONY knows what’s about to go down so she stands quickly. SYDNEY and BRITTANY look a little scared and shrink behind MRS. BOLONY.






MRS. BOLONY




(Rushed and a little anxious)


Alright class time to get started! Girls I think


it’s time for you to go… we can settle all of this


calmly after class.

The three “best friends” look at each other as they turn to leave the room without a word said. SYDNEY and BRITTANY turn down the hall with their heads together whispering quietly about what just happened. ALEXIS whips around and storms out of the room dramatically.
