I opened my eyes with intense pain, I blinked multiple times but still struggled to see. I had no clue where I was or what had happened. My head was throbbing as if I had been hit with a baseball bat. I looked around it was dark yet I saw little reflections on shattered glass. I could slowly see things come more clear in my vision. I looked down and my legs were pinched by the metal dass. My heart began to race and my breathing seemed labored. I watched blood slowly drip and puddle around my legs but I couldn’t feel a thing. I just realized my ears were ringing shapely and I couldn’t hear any noise. My vision was starting to disappear again. I woke up again laying on some cot like a bed. I could feel straps holding my weight down, it almost felt like I was being squished to death. I wanted to scream. I saw blue and red lights flashing around me, with soft mumbles from unfamiliar voices. Everything started to fade away again, what was happening to me. I woke up in the hospital, and for the first time everything seemed okay. I tried to move but pain shot up my sine. I heard tears nearby, I turned my head and saw my parents coming over to me. I’ll never forget what happened that day and I’ll never be the same.
