I stared at the back of her head, switching my gaze between the knife in my hand and her soft, silky locks. I traced the edge of the blade with one finger, up and down, excitement pulsing through my veins, lighting up my nerves as the knife's blade came close to breaking the point of skin on my finger.
The teacher approached my desk, walking through the rows of students and pausing briefly next to me. I quickly concealed the knife by shoving it into my pocket.
A sharp sting filled me with pleasure, the knife digging into my skin. I felt warm blood erupt and cascade down my leg as I smiled politely at the teacher.
I turned to look at her again, my eyes following the way her blue eyes glittered as she turned to look at her friend. She caught my eye and grinned, a dangerous smile that spread across her lips, inviting me in.
This was it. It was time to show her how much I loved her.
I stood up and pushed my desk aside, the knife still weighing down my pocket, blood running down the rough, dirty skin on my thigh. The look of welcoming in her eyes wavered, some new emotion growing in her.
As I got closer to her desk, I felt wide eyes watching me, people pointing to my leg and the teacher exclaiming something.
I didn't care.
I was focused on the girl now in front of me. She shrunk before me, lip trembling, hands tightly gripping her chair. I recognised the emotion in her vibrant blue eyes. It was fear.
I glared at her, pulling the knife from my pocket and holding it to her neck. Shouts sounded from all around me. I grabbed her pretty face with my other hand and held it in front of mine. She should be happy. Why wasn't she happy? I was doing this for her. Ungrateful b*tch.
I would show her just how much I felt for her. I swung the knife in one swoop, slicing a deep cut through the soft skin on her neck.
She shuddered and fell before me. I lay down next to her, holding her body and inhaling her scent.
I gently lay my mouth against her head and felt our hearts become one before the world fell away from us.
