The phone call

Singing in my room,
I hear the home phone chime.
Listening to the ringing from upstairs, I stopped my music.
Who could this be?
Walking down the steps, I don’t hear anything anymore.
Ringing. Ringing. Again.
I walk down and pick up the phone.
“I’m coming for you” answered the phone.
