The more you learn, the more you know, the more you know, the more you forget, the more you forget, then less you know, so why learn?

It started with an old couple, a man, two women, a young couple, and a teenager. The 3:30 train
to San Jose creaked down the one-laned old led railway. That’s when disaster struck. The train stopped. The
passengers jerked forward. The darkness pressing against the windows was frightening. Not only had
the train stopped, it had stopped in a tunnel. It took at least a half a minute for someone to finally move.
One man stood up and examined the door to the other cart. Just like in the movies, it wouldn’t open.

“Power must be out.” He concluded.

“Then why are the lights in the train still on?” said the boy.
This hit everyone like a bullet. The train was silent again. The other man rose, and pressed his
hand against the train door to the outside. The wiggled and bended, but didn’t burst open. He tried
pulling the out sideways. Same outcome. By this time, panic ran through the passengers minds.

“Where do you reckon the conductor is?” Spoke one of the women.

“He’s probably trapped like us.” Another woman replied. “But on the far end of the train.”
Silence. After about 2 minutes of sitting around, the men started throwing themselves at the
doors. The only luck they had was cracking the window on the door to the other cart, and completely
denting the door to the outside. No one was Brave enough to look out the window, and even if you did
nothing could be seen through the darkness.

“What if another train comes..?” came out of the mouth of the boy.

“What are you trying to scare us half to death, boy?” roared one man.

“Cut that out rick!” snapped the mans wife.

“They probably wonder why the train is late, and check the rails-“
She was cut off by a loud, rib rattling crack. Everyone stood, including the silent old couple.

“What…was…that?” the boy finally asked.

“It sounded as if, I don’t know, a door fell off, or a window cracked.”
“Don’t be ridiculous, these windows are inches think, it would take a gun to shatter it.” The old
man finally spoke.

“Well maybe someone else is on the train, and they escaped!” the old lady continued with joy in her voice. The passengers all rushed to the door to the other car, screaming and pounding violently.

“Yes, they could of found the emergency axe and busted through!” a women spoke.
Only till later did they find out that what that was, was far worse than anything they expected.
