never let anyone say the sky is the limit becase people have walked on the moon.

It was midnight and all I could see is the blinking of the traffic light. I don’t know how far away he is but I bet he is pretty close. I was breathing hard but I had to keep running. I didn’t mean to hear it but I just happened to be there at that time. I had no clue where I was going, all I knew was I had to get out of town. Why would someone want to kidnap me? I mean I guess I’m pretty, but I’m not like a super model. I’m just a simple brunet with brown eyes. I am in 8th grade at Anderson Middle School.

It all started yesterday, when I was walking home from school. I saw this man wearing all black with a long jacket. He had his collar pulled over his neck. He looked fairly familiar; I just can’t remember where I have seen him before. I heard him saying “I see her.” I didn’t know who he was talking about but I was scared he was talking about me.

Why did Isabel have to get sick today? Every other day would’ve been fine but today.

Just to be safe I started to walk a little faster than I was. Then I glanced behind me and saw him following me. My heart started to race. Why was he following me? Did I do something wrong? What did he want? A bunch of questions popped into my head.

By the time I got home it was already 5 p.m. and mom had already gone off to work. I made sure all the doors and windows were locked just in case. A couple hours have passed. I just finished my homework. Right as I started to relax, I heard a hard knocking on the door. I froze right where I was and dropped my glass of water. I heard the knocking again. Fear struck me. Should I check who it is? Should I hide and hope the knocking stops?

I silently moved toward the door. I looked through the peep hole and saw that man again. I gasped! I made a break for the backdoor. While I was running I started to think. Maybe I should’ve called the cops. But then again they sometimes take a long time to come and the guy could’ve run away by the time the cops showed up. Also everyone knows he would have come back sooner or later to get his revenge. I ran through the back door, and took off running. I didn’t know where I was going, all I knew is it's midnight and I was really scared.

Is he still following me? I couldn’t tell, and I am too scared to look back. What does he want from me? I don’t remember doing anything to him. I don’t remember doing anything wrong. All I remember was going to school. During school all I did was text in a couple classes. But I mean come on, about every average 8th grader does that. So I don’t know why I could be being chased instead of someone who texts in every single class. Also if they caught me they would’ve just sent me up to the counselor, not have someone chase me. Then I was on the way home and I passed that guy and he said "I see her."

I was curious so I forced myself to look back. Oh no! I saw him getting into a car. And even worse than that is it was a police car! I know what your thinking how could this guy steal a police officers car when he's in it? the cop car was on but the officer was across the street giving someone a ticket. Where should I go? I spotted a small convenience store behind the Super Publix. I rushed toward it. Dang! Locked, what do I do?! I saw a sign that said 20 miles to Kissimmee, Florida. Maybe I can go there. Well it’s worth a shot.

I started running to save my life. Literally.

It was raining and I could only see a few feet in front of me. I didn’t see the tree rout and I tripped and fell into a mud pile. GROSS! For that moment I could only hear my thoughts. That all changed when I saw a very bright light and it kept getting brighter and brighter. Then I realized that the guy has caught up to me. Scared and lonely I get up as quickly as I could and start running with all my might again. I’m still wondering why he is chasing me.

Finally I found a place to hide. It's some place in Kissimmee. I am hiding here till I think he is far away from me. Of course I think this guy won’t stop looking until he finds me. But I’m hoping he is about to enter St. Cloud.
