He felt like the walls were caving in on him. He wanted out. He felt so enclosed by such a small space. Adam sat in the corner. He sat there silently, waiting for his eyes to adjust. Once his eyes adjusted, he could only make out a few things in the small area. He saw a figure that looked like a chair. It was plain as far as Adam could see except for the missing arm on one side. It looked to be clean cut.The room smells like wood.

Adam spots a small pile of an unknown substance. He slowly crawls over to it and pokes his finger in it slightly. Once he touches it he realizes its sawdust;neatly brushed into a pile. All of a sudden a light flickers for a second, goes off completely, then turns back on.

Mirrors. He is surrounded by them, and he feels as if there is a knot in his throat. To Adam, the mirrors just make it seem smaller. He sees himself countless times all around him. He gazed into his own dark green eyes. He sees his chiseled jaw line and olive skin.

As he looks around, he thinks his mind is playing tricks on him, but he sees a man walking towards him. The man wears all black, and a clown mask. The masks creeps Adam out more than the mysterious man walking toward him. He refuses to look back, but he feels the need to. He can see him nearing towards him. Just as he turns around, the man covers Adam’s mouth and picks him up with great force.

It all happens too quick. He tries to scream but the mans hand is muffling the sound. Even if his mouth wasn't covered by a hand, he's not sure who would hear him screaming. Adam tries to kick and punch, but the man is not one bit affected by it. The man has such a tight grip on Adam that his body feels like it’s about to collapse, and it begins to get hard to breathe.

He starts to walk a small distance over to the chair, and unzips his pocket of the jacket Adam had not noticed till now. Out of the pocket he pulls out a piece of rope. He ties Adam's legs to the chair first. He did it tight enough that it hurts.

As the man starts to unzip the other pocket, Adam watches him closely. The man's hands are extremely pale. He wonders how he looks behind that mask.

The man walks to the other side of the room now and sits in the other corner of the room. He sits there silently, staring at Adam. The lights begin to flicker on and off again, leaving Adam and the unknown man in darkness. Adam can no longer see anything, and he has no clue as to where the man is at.

The man begins to hum a familiar song. Its a song that Adam’s father would play when he was angry. He could never forget that song. He could feel his father hitting him in time with the beats of the music. Adam’s head began hurt. Pain surged through his brain. He didn’t want to hear that rhythm again. It made him want to cry and to scream. And in that moment of deja vu he could feel memories flowing in, but he couldn’t piece it all together.

His traumatizing memories are brought to an end when he hears footsteps walking among him, when suddenly, the room drops...
