Chapter 1: Chapter 1: The Hooded Man

November 17, 2012
Everything is a blur since the last events have taken place. Something that was my daily routine and sanctuary since I arrived three years ago with my uncle Chris and his family led into a battle out of a fantasy book. My trips to the forest and the stream was what saved me out of all the problems out there, although most people wouldn't agree with me for their fear of Crawford's forest and the vibe it gives. However, I think most of that creepy goosebumps sensation comes from the ancient tree. As one strolls down by the stream there's an ancient tree in the center of the forest next to the stream. This tree is different though it doesn't look like an ordinary tree from the forest; it takes the space of four trees put together but everyday as I'm going down towards the stream I stop and admire this only tree from distance. Some days it looks like if around the edges it had a hint of yellow or blue glow, those are the days I feel like if the tree had a pull on me...other days I see or feel absolutely nothing. So what's my surprise when I get tackled from a random guy I had never seen before in my life, or so I thought.
"Hey get off me you...you...big...big bulky beast!"
"What's the matter with you Isabel? Do you want us to get caught?"
"Wait, back up how the he-"
  "Don't speak!"
"Hey as much as I would like to admire the forest with a humongous guy who I don't know and is cutting my air by the way. I got to go!"
"Hey I'm no stranger! I know you might be mad at me still for the last time we saw each other, but the amnesia story is a little bit too much Bell. There's no possible way you could ever forget about your boy Alexander." The boy who I know knew his name grinned down at me with a goofy but actually charming smile that made me think he was good with the ladies as I took him in and realized he was a "hottie" as my only cousin and best friend Jane would say.
"Hey I'm sorry umh...Alexander but I don't know you seriously I'm not lying I swear. I think you have the wrong Isabel."
"Oh no, no, no this can't be happening! This explains everything! Oh god, Alexander relax, breath!" Alexander calmed himself down and breathed or more blew air into my face.
However, in that moment I noticed behind his head some five to ten hooded men running towards us.
"Hey as much as I would like to stay and chat with you and your pals behind you I got to go-"
"Wait what?!? What guys behind me?" Alexander whispered low as he turned around and took in the guys. "Crap let's go, now!
"I'm not leaving with you!"
"Ok you leave me no choice...we will update you later."
In that moment Alexander did the last thing I was expecting, he grabbed me and put me over his shoulder. I was boiling inside. How could this stranger carry me as a sack of potatoes? Who did he think he was?
"Get me down now!" I kicked and shoved until he stop my legs from moving.
"No can do lady," He yelled over his shoulder as he ran towards a black Camaro, parked at the edge of the forest. "To sum it up you are the key to the tree of life meaning what keeps the balance between good and evil. Your parents took you away three years ago when they realized you were sixteen and had no normal teenage life. They wanted to give you a normal life and keep you safe from the enemies. They told us they were going to keep us updated but they never did, up until today we didn't know about your whereabouts." Alexander pushed us then into the car and sped off leaving the hooded men behind us.
As we drove down the road my world began to crumple. I couldn't believe this, my parents knew about this? I'm sort of an important person or key for this person. I know this young handsome guy. How could this be....?

Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Car Chase

stranger, who could be lying to her! Could? No he certainly was.
"Where are you taking me, creep?"
"I already told you I'm no stranger, so chillax and stop with the names," Alexander chuckled," and don't worry I'm taking you home so we can get your family."
"What! Oh no Mr., youre not involving my family in your wacko serial killer plans!"
"Bell, your uncle and your aunt know all about us," Alexander told me shyly fearing my reaction.
Silence, that's how I responded. Her uncle and aunt knew about this; the question now was...why did they hid it from her? Did they promise not to tell? Was Jane aware of this as well?
"Does my cousin know about this?"
"No, I don't think so at least. Your uncle Chris and his wife left the organization to raise your cousin in a place free of danger. If they later told her about it when she grew, I don't know," Alexander said with a straight face and no trace of humor anymore.
As they continued driving Isabel noticed that he was going fairly over the limit, which would end up killing them instead of the hooded men.
"Alexander, Stop! Slow down!"
"Can't, I'm trying to save our lives at the moment. See those cars behind us? They want you and their not returning you back to us anytime soon."
Isabel turned her head around to see what cars, when out of nowhere they got hit from behind, breaking the back. Alexander yelled to her to hold on but it was too late, the car hit them on the side of the car making Alexander lose his grip and causing him to hit straight on to the other car on our side, making Isabel's head smash into the window bringing along the darkness.
