My name is Susan Fox and I’m sixteen. I was very quiet and least popular girl at my high school. I was an A student, a loving sister for my younger brother Kevin who was thirteen, and a good daughter for my parents. I do not have bad habits. Love to play piano…
I lived with my parents and Kevin in Alabama state. My family was the typical American family. We considered ourselves to the middle class of American society, couldn't say that we had a lot of money. My parents worked at the post office. They always used to go to work at 1 o'çlock in the morning, and come home at around 4 o’clock in the evening, and we quickly used to have a dinner with our family. After the meal everybody used to go on their own. But on Saturdays my parents come home early. We always spent time together. That was the only time we could be together, so we tried to make   best of it, and did something different.
Everything was good, until we moved to Hilton Drive Street a year ago from now because of my parent's job. Our street was always quiet and empty. Nobody hardly ever come to our street, besides us, mailman and our neighbor - Jack Wilson, whose house was standing opposite to our house. Jack Wilson was an old, helpless and poor man, or maybe he seemed like it. He lived alone, no children, no wife, nobody. Nobody even came to visit him. He was the reason why our usual, happy life turned into a nightmare.

After two months we moved to our new house, strange things started to hapening. Kevin was acting weird. He couldn't sleep at night and always was scared. He told us that the reason of that was our neighbor, that the neighbor did weird things wich scared him. Mom and Dad used to take Kevin's words as the words of thirteen-year-old teenage boy who read scary comis and played violent video games. So they didn't let Kevin play any video games or read scary comics anymore. But Kevin was still the same, scared, wich made my parents think that he had mental issues. I was very worried for my little brother and tried to help him.

It was Friday. After our usual hard and long day, we had dinner. When we finished Kevin told me that once at night he saw how Jack Wilson was watching him. I was shocked to hear that. I didn't know whether to believe Kevin or not. Then we decided  to go to Kevin's room and watch the neighbor at night.
After my parents went to work, I came to Kevin's room. It was 1:30am. When I opened his room's door, he was standing and looking at me. I got so scared and said angrily: “Kevin! It isn't funny!” His eyes filled into tears, and said that he was afraid and was waiting for me. I felt sorry for him and hugged him, wondering what will happen to this poor boy in the future.
We sat by the window, and quietly watched our neighbor with the fear that any time something might happen. Suddenly his lights turned on, and there was bunch of people in his house, wich was very weird for our neighbor who has been living alone for a long time, or some pretty wierd and scary things were happening in old man's house in the middle of the night. We didn't even hear how people arrived, no cars, nothing, but many people. Jack closed the windows with curtains, but we could still see the shadows and unnatural human body shapes.  They were doing unusual actions, we could not understand what was happening. We got close to the window to see better, when suddenly Jack opened his window very fast and stared at us with his evil eyes. We got so scared and sat away from the window. My heart was beating fast and hard, I felt like I didn't have enough air to breath. It felt like he knew that we were watching him. Then I looked at Kevin, he closed his eyes hardly and closed his ears with his hands. Then he started crying and said: “I am afraid.” I hugged him and slowly looked at the window again, but there was no light in the house. Everything was so quiet, like nothing happened. And I could not see the neighbor again.    I said: “Look Kevin! He isn't there anymore!”    Kevin looked at the window and saw everything was gone and calmed down. We didn't want to look at the window anymore. After some hours we fell asleep on the floor.

In the morning I woke up from the voices coming from the outside. Kevin was still sleeping. I recognized my mom's voice. But I couldn't figure out what they were talking about. I got up and looked at the window. I was astonished, when I saw my mom and dad talking to Jack Wilson. He pretended tht he was so nice to our parents. I did not know what to do. I wanted to scream to my parents to stay away from him. My eyeballs got bigger. Something was burning me inside. ThenI saw Jacl's look at me. His mysterious eyes and smile wouldn't leave any human body without fear. I stayed away from the window. I did not want to wake Kevin up and tell him that situation to scare him more.
When mom and dad came in to home, I asked them what they were talking about with Mr. Jack.
Mom said:   “Well... We are going out tonight with our friends, dear. It is very important night for us. We didn't see our friends for 30 years. And we might be late.”
  “No!”- I screamed.
“What do you mean no!? We are adults, we decide what should we do. And you are old enough to take care of yourselves,”- said dad.
“No! Don't leave us alone!”- said Kevin running downstairs. I guess he woke up from our loud talking.
“Don't worry kids! We asked Mr. Wilson to watch you guys just in case if something happens.”-said mom.
Kevin and I looked at each other with terrifying eyes. The feeling of fear was filling me inside. We pleaded our parents not to leave us, but they did not want to listen to us or we got to stay at home the whole month.
At 5pm mom and dad left. We didn't know what was gonna happen. Only God knew what would be that night...
"Can I... Can I just stop?! I can't anymmore,"- I said to the reporter from New Yourk Times. My doctor looked at me and asked the reporter to come the next day and that I got to relax.
  To be continued...
