The door creeks ever so slightly open, just enough to reveal a man, resting peacefully on the hospital bed. He opens his eyes, immediately becoming anxious about what happened to him. He thought calmly to himself “It’s ok Jason, you just need to figure out what it happening right now”. He rose out of his bed, stretching his weak muscles. He felt as if his legs had not been used in months. He looked around, only finding medical supplies: Cotton balls, medical gloves, used needles. “A hospital. At least I know where I am.”

He opened the door that enclosed his room. The hallway in front of him led towards the right directions. The corridor was lit by multiple flickering fluorescent lights, just enough to enable him to see where he was going. He started to feel anxious about what happened to him that made him end up in this hospital. He couldn’t find any sorts of unusual marks that would reveal what happened to him. “Ok” Jason thought to himself, “Everything is ok, I just need to figure out how to get out of this hospital”.

Jason started walking slowly down the hallway eventually finding himself at a dead end. He started to head back the way he came. Eventually Jason stumbled upon a door that led him to another hallway. This hallway was poorly lit; no human would be able to see anything. He knew that This hallway might be his only chance at getting out of the hospital. Jason wanted to be sure that there was no other way of escaping. He checked all of the other doors finding typical rooms: offices, operating rooms and normal checkup routine rooms. He knew what he had to do.

Heading back to the door with the hallway, Jason’s anxiety started to heighten. Every step closer, he could feel himself becoming more worried. He opened the door that could probably use a little fixing with the hinges. He could barely see anything ahead of him, but he built up enough courage to go down the hallway. He remembered his family, how his mom always loved him, how his 2 brothers were always by his side. The only one Jason didn’t really like was his father, always disrespecting him and never thinking that Jason could live up to his expectations.

Thinking about his family, he walked down the passage. Practically blind, Jason took it one step at a time. He looked desperately, trying to find any clues as to what was happening. As he walks down the hallway, Jason starts to feel worried, his anxiety starts to kick in as he travels further down the walkway. Jason can start to see the light ahead of him, but it didn’t seem like daylight. This light had a white tint to it, making it look like it was coming from a flashlight. It’s moving around, as if the flashlight was being held by a person. He thinks to himself “Yes! Someone to help me get out of here!”.

Jason began running towards the light, losing all feelings of doubt and being worried. As Jason started to head towards the light, he notices writing on the wall. He sees on the wall “Trust no one”, written with fresh blood. It wasn’t written long ago, with fresh blood still dripping down from all of the words. He looked around the scene, finding a mangled body. He was frightened by what he saw, jumping out from the place he was standing. Jason looked down at the bodies face. After one look, he could immediately tell who it was: his brother Oscar. Jason had completely forgotten about the light waiting for him at the end of the hall. All he could think about was the fact that his little brother is dead. All he does is sit, feelings rushing through his head.

Jason stood up, still in shock, and started heading towards the light. He starts to run closer and closer to the light, when it shuts off. At this point he comes to a dead end, when he spots a glimpse of light out of the back of his eye. He sees 2 doors that lead to another hallway, and through the thin windows, he sees white light shining, the same light as before.

Jason opened the door, revealing the light. The light was very strong. He couldn’t see anything. Even when Jason shut his eyes, he could still feel and see the light radiating through his eyelids. WIthin moments of the doors closing behind the light surrounding him disappears. Jason opens his eyes, not being able to see a thing. It hurts for him to focus on the darkness that he is now enclosed by. When his eyes adjust to the blackness another light shines, from around the corner. Jason runs over to the light, and when he turns the sharp corner, the light shuts off. Again surrounding by darkness, Jason became worried. Another light turned on, this one even further down the hallway. He sprinted down the hallway, chasing the lights that would flash on, turning off as soon as he reached them. With no thought process, he just ran. He ran through another door, shutting and locking behind him. He was in a room with nothing inside of it. Locked in. Pitch black. No escape.

Jason tries to find something to help him escape from the room. He couldn’t see anything around him. He yells in the room “Help! Won’t somebody help me! Please!”. He hears footsteps approaching him. Jason looked back and saw a black figure standing with a flashlight pointed at him. Half a second later, a knife pierced through his chest. He stumbled onto the ground, looked behind him and saw his brother Oscar. The figure he once couldn’t see became very clear to him who it was. As the blood poured out of him and the light became closer, he looked into his father's eyes, with a disappointed expression on his face. All Jason could think was about how he had disappointed his father his whole life.
