How to Woodstock

Terrariums is the topic for this week. a terrarium is not like a fish tank it only has water in a little pond kind of setting.

Materials needed for this:
1. Big Glass jar or bowl - something that you can see out of.
2. small stones or pebbles (you can find them at the beach on the side of the road)
3. charcoal (keeps it smelling good)
4. dirt (for the plants)
5. humus (rotten fruit or leaves)
layer one to four inches deep.>>

you take your hand shovel or a spoon. you can get some plants from your back yard or from the market.
make sure the things you ind are not to big to fit into your terrarium, you want it to have a quit amount of space. \
I think for the plant area a good thing to start out with is Moss and Ferns. Moss is s a good carpet for the reptile that you will be keeping in the terrarium.
When taking out the plants use the hand shovel, make sure not to pull all of it's roots off. It needs them in order to grow.

Now back to the bottom lay out, now you can place the jar on it's side or have it sit straight up.

1. put the small stones on the bottom of the jar.
2. sprinkle pieces of coal on top
3.then you put in the layer of dirt.
4. then the plants.
Once you have done all this the only thing left is to put in a body of water. For this it should not be so hard get a little bowl and put some water in it. Then once you place it inside you are done.
