The feeling of the sweltering sun beating on my tan back tells me its summer. The taste of the ice cold lemonade we drink on a hot day is the bomb, the way the coldness slides down my throat. The late nights make me feel like a million bucks. I always wake up with a huge smile on my face and all of my worries are torn away like a piece of paper. Summer is the perfect season. The way the wind blows in my face and my hair, makes me look like I’m in a dramatic movie. The beach is incomparable. I especially love the feeling of the sizzling sand between my toes. I enjoy running into the waves and then running away from them because of the cold temperature. When I walk, I hear *flip-flop* behind me. I can’t stand but to smile. When I wake up I am filled with excitement as I trample down the stairs. I open up the front door to feel the warmth and take a deep breath. Breakfast is relaxed and calm. I am finally not in a rush. The smell of the fresh cut grass is lovely to wake up to. I enjoy hanging with my friends and going swimming in the freezing cold pool. A late night ice cream trip is so much fun. My crazy mother is hilarious and makes me crack up. Down and back constantly from the beautiful marina. With the stunning palm trees that blow in the wind, and the delicious smoothies that are served at the snack bar. I never want summer to end. Just like I never want a vacation to end. But it all has to end sometime. It is so sad but it will come again next year just like the rest of the seasons. I will surely miss it though.
