The other day I was just going through my snapchat friends’ stories when I stumbled across a really disturbing video. It was a video of a girl against the wall and her friend’s pushing on her chest until she passed out. I started thinking about something similar to this called, ‘the choking game’ But the only difference is that they would be choked until they passed out. I shook it off for a few days until I came across another video with people doing the same thing. I searched it up and what I found was absolutely disturbing. The pass out game is just my generation’s version of the choking game. This game is severely dangerous. I read that one boy died from passing out and falling into glass and severed an artery. The teens are not taking this seriously enough to think about the repercussions. They take these videos and post them everywhere unknowingly setting other people up to try the same thing. This game of asphyxiation is just teens thinking that they’re invincible when in reality they are just gambling with their lives. I think people should be giving more insight on the risks of trying this “game”. It isn’t a joke and it shouldn’t be taken lightly. The fate of their lives is in the palms of our hands.

I hope that people finally understand the hazards of playing dice with death. This is a game that nobody should be playing. The results of this could end up in death. I want the word to be spread about this so maybe parents will stop this from happening again before another death occurs.
