Animals are used to test cosmetic products daily. They are treated poorly, as though they are things, not real beings with feelings and emotion. Over 100 million animals are used to test yearly. Mostly rabbits, mice and monkeys. They are forced to suffer through countless tests, in order to check the safety of dish soap, makeup, cosmetic procedures, and a multitude of other things. But while they are forced to suffer, a majority of the tests that pass on them, fail when used on humans.

There are alternatives to animal testing that are faster, and less expensive. Many labs use test tubes to see the reaction the products cause instead of injecting the substances cruelly into these helpless animals. By boycotting companies who support animal testing, and supporting those who are against it, you can help get the message across that the public is against animal cruelty.
