                                        responsibility.
Imagine you seeing your beloved friend vape. You think to yourself, “Who’s
responsible for this?” They seem to be perfect one day-then the next they’re in the
hospital on their death bed slowly and silently dying. You see them laying their and
think again, “Who is responsible for this?”
Companies with advertisement and no regulation on these deadly products
can make them responsible. Vapes are being filled with chemicals such as nickel,
lead, tin, and benzene. These chemicals are causing cases of diseases and
sicknesses, even deaths. These companies are not warning us about these heath
concerns. They may warn us that electronic cigarettes are just as addictive as
traditional ones but not warn us that they are 20 cigarettes worth of nicotine.
Therefore, companies may be a big solution to this problem.
Parents on the other hand can be an answer to this question, “Who is
responsible?” Parents or other adults might be an influence on these teenagers.
They tend to follow what they see or hear from others. The best thing parents can
do are to warn the teens or the dangers and hope they do the best option offered
to them. Some may argue that the adults can punish but punishment only last so
long. Punishment can cause urges to the teens to vape or smoke more. However,
in my opinion parents are not responsible for these teenagers' actions.
Teenagers might be the answer to this essential question, “Who is
responsible?” Vaping is starting to involve into a 24/7 thing for teens now. They be
just a follower and think this is cool. This deadly illness is no laughing matter and
must be solved. Teenagers must know the dangers of vaping. Some might be
clueless of the effects of smoking but others know exactly what they are doingthey are drowning their lungs slowly and silently. It should be noted that these
young lives can take blame on their actions.
All above, people are wanting answers for these last 14 deaths and 805
cases of diseases. In the US, 40 million people worldwide are killing their lungs.
Their lungs are building up with fluids from the vapor and now they are drowning.
We need answers. We need help. We need to stop. Nonetheless, the companies,
parents, and teens one may be responsible. Who will take the blame?
