Summer Heat
I was in Florida for vacation. I had been there about 3 days. I was sitting out on our balcony over looking the Gulf of Mexico.
I was feeling so strange. I was watching this really good looking surfer, wax his board. I was falling in out of sleep. It wasn't
like sleep though, I felt weird like I was passing out but only for a few seconds.
My Uncle calls, its time to get ready.
I enter the cold condo. It was so cold. I was shivering.
I throw on shorts and a sweatshirt and meet my Aunt and Uncle out by the converitable.
I was feeling homesick. I grabbed a piece of gum, and started chewing. I wasn't supposed to have gum, I have braces. But come on I am
on vaction, give me a break.
We get to the reastaurant, I feel worse.
I am shivering, I am cold, but my body feels hot.
My Aunt and Uncle worried.
The waitress, who was like a grandmother. Incrediably sweet. She makes me hot chocolate, with whip cream and a cherry.
I still feel so cold.
I felt worse and worse.
I called my mom. I took the medicine. Then I watch the news saying the Tylenol was not really that good to take anymore.
I fall asleep, but all I think is will I wake up again?
